How to make an appointment
Our appointment system makes every effort to offer you an appointment with a doctor within a reasonable time from request. Appointments are bookable up to one month in advance for patients with less urgent issues. Appointments with a GP tend to be booked in advance but appointments with Advanced Nurse Practitioners or Pharmacist Clinicians are available on the day. We offer urgent appointment for acute presentations and children under the age of 16 will be seen on the day. If there are no appointments available at your own surgery you may be offered an appointment at one of the branches.
Please bear in mind that there are some conditions that our highly trained nursing staff can deal with. These include routine checks such as:-
- Coronary Heart Disease
- Diabetes
- HRT
- Asthma
- Contraceptive Pill
- Check Hypertension
Appointments booked with nurses where possible will free up more of the doctors time and thus provide more appointments.
Appointments can be booked using by telephone, online or in person.
